I've spent the last week reading Order of the Phoenix to some of the kids at the shelter and last night I had a dream that I was being attacked by Satan's armies and in order to prevent them from killing me, I had to conjure a patronus. It was in the form of a shamrock and it all started out okay, but then it turned into a snake and I woke up screaming.

It was not awesome.

The saint's potluck, however, that was awesome.

It was even awesomer because some of us didn't try home cooking. Beer patrol suits me.

Have you ever tried lucid dreaming, or controlling your dream? I knew a little girl once who ended her recurring nightmare by inviting the enormous, murderous yellow spider to a tea party. You could insult its momma in Parseltongue or something.
